Welcome, welcome! I am SO excited to be joining the blogging world, to share and create with you. My name is Sarah, and I'm a midwesterner by transplant. Born in Utah, my family moved to Minnesota when I was in 5th grade. I spent a lot of that adjustment period, spending tons of time learning my way around the kitchen with my parents (namely Dad, who loved to cook). Mom taught me all she knows about baking! I remember being 11 or 12 and driving Dad crazy, asking him to show me how to cook almost everything and allowing me to try. He would cringe and "help" and clean up after each step which in turn helped me become the "clean as you go" type of chef.
